Vital request fee increase:
Starting January 1, 2014 the fee for a birth or death certificate will increase by $5.00. The fee for a marriage certificate will increase by $1.00 The new fees are listed below.
The new fee for a birth certificate will be $25.00
The new fee for a death certificate will be $21.00.
The new fee for a marriage certificate will be $15.00-(This is for a certified copy of a marriage certificate, not the license to get married. For a Marriage license to get married please visit the Clerk site).
Please note These fees will only take affect on and after January 1, 2014. Until then the fees will remain the same, any applications received after January 1, 2014 will be rejected for insufficient funds, causing a delay in you receiving your requested document.
Recording fee increase:
Starting January 1, 2013 the fee to record a document will increase to $10.00 for the first page; per title. Any document that is a penalty document i.e a two sided or larger than 8 1/2 x 11; will also increase by $2.00. All additional pages that are attached will continue to remain at the $3.00 per page price.
