For the standard recording fee, pages must be 8 1/2 x 11 and printed, typed, written, or stamped only on one side. If ANY page has anything written, typed, printed, or stamped on the back of the page then the fee for the recording will increase by $3.00 per page.

If you are mailing in a deed we do not charge to record the Preliminary Change of Ownership Statement, however, it is required to be mailed in with your deed. To print the above-mentioned form please visit the Assessors website.

If there was any money exchanged for your property there will be a documentary transfer tax that will be due at the time of recording. Please call our office with the amount paid for the property and we will be more than happy to give you the correct transfer tax amount.

The transfer tax amount must be paid at the time of recording and can be combined with the recording fees on one check.
