Modoc County Assessor / Recorder - Kristen DePaul

On June 28th, 2024, the Modoc County Recorder will stop recording documents at 1:30pm. All documents received after 1:30pm will be processed the next business day. We will resume normal recording hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm starting July 1, 2024. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Office Hours:
Monday through Friday
 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed for lunch between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m.
Recording cut off time is 4:30pm, all documents received after this time will be processed the following business day.
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
